We at Danube Glass have been working with glass artists in Krosno Poland for more than 15 years, creating a constantly changing unique ranges of mouth-blown, handmade art glass.

Glass blowing has long been a part of the creative culture of central Europe, arguably this is were the very best is done, many will be familiar with Murano glass from Italy. The town of Krosno in Poland  where our glass comes from, has specialised in glass blowing for centuries, refining it to a very high art form.

Each colour range is the result of creative experimentation. We ask the glass blowers to experiment with particular shapes and colour combinations to create for us a unique sequence of pieces. The quantities are limited and no two pieces are ever the same.

To achieve the wonderful results we are after, many of the individual pieces require a team of two or more glass blowers to work the layers of clear and coloured molten glass into a piece of art.

We have recently added hand painted, metallic inlay and Swarovski ® crystal to our  range.
